You do the job. TradieO does the rest.

Here’s a normal day run through TradieO — quote to compliance certificate, on site to overnight. No new habits to learn. You talk, you tap, you finish. The paperwork gets drafted for you.
A normal day, minus the paperwork.
On site — quote it before you’ve left the driveway
You finish looking at the job and you know what it needs. Instead of writing it up tonight, you talk to your phone: “two hours labour, PTR valve, new anode, callout.” TradieO builds an itemised draft quote — lines you don’t put a price on are priced from your own presets and labour rate, and flagged for you to check — and you send it while you’re still packing up. It lands in your pipeline board so you can see every job you’re waiting to hear back on.
The crew — send the job to your apprentice’s phone
Got someone else on the tools? Send them the next job with a tap — address, customer, what needs doing. They unlock the app with their PIN, tap Clock In, check in to the job and check out when they’re done, and their hours are added to the job at their rate, ready for the invoice. No timesheets to chase on a Friday. Solo, it’s just you clocking your own hours against the job.
Done — hit complete, and three things get moving
The office is told the job is ready to invoice, or, if you’ve switched on invoice on completion, the invoice is finalised and emailed straight away with a link to pay. The compliance certificate is started with the job’s details already in; you add the few details the law needs, sign it, and it’s filed, with a real deadline countdown running. You lodge it yourself and tick “I’ve lodged it”. The customer’s receipt is emailed the moment the invoice is marked paid. You’re already driving to the next job.
Overnight — the chasing runs without you
With payment reminders switched on, unpaid invoices get a polite email at 3, 7 and 14 days past the due date. Customers on a service schedule have their next job created and booked two weeks ahead, unless you pause the schedule or skip the visit. You wake up to a board that’s already filled in, not a to-do list.
Three things that actually change.
Get paid faster
Speak the job on site, check the draft and send it. Switch on payment reminders and they go out without you. More →
Compliance on the clock
Marking a job done starts the certificate with the job’s details in, the deadline counts down, and the signed record is kept filed. More →
Work books itself
Put a customer on a service schedule and TradieO creates and books the next job two weeks before it’s due, unless you stop it. More →
You don’t have to change how you work.
TradieO runs on the phone that’s already in your pocket. There’s nothing to install and re-learn, no thick manual. We set the whole thing up for you — your rates, your logo, your licence details — and you turn up already running. Your old customer list is brought across for you as part of setup.
Straight answers.
Does the voice invoicing actually understand trade terms?
Yes. It’s built for the way tradies talk — parts, labour, callouts, materials. It builds a draft and you check it before anything goes out; it’s quick to tweak if it mishears. It never sends by itself.
Which compliance certificates does it handle?
It covers electrical, gas and plumbing certificates, plus a general profile, with Tasmania’s rules and deadlines built in. Marking a job complete starts the certificate with the job’s details in; you add the few details the law needs and sign it, and it’s filed with a real deadline countdown. It doesn’t lodge them — Tasmania has no online lodgement system, so you lodge and tick “I’ve lodged it”. The filed record is ready to copy onto the regulator’s own form; it isn’t that form. On a demo we’ll show you how it works for your trade.
What if I don’t have a crew — is the team stuff wasted on me?
No. Solo, you use it to clock your own hours against jobs and keep your books straight. The team features are there the day you put on your first apprentice, at no extra cost.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They get an email with a link — to view a quote, accept it, or pay an invoice — and a text too if you’ve connected your own SMS account. Nothing to download.
What happens if I lose signal on site?
Today’s jobs are on your phone, so you can still open and edit them, collect signatures, raise a signed variation, clock on and off, check in and out, and take down a new job. It all syncs when you’re back in range. Photos need signal.
