When your business runs on someone else’s system, your whole operation lives on their computers. Your customer list — the thing you spent years building — sits on their servers. Your pricing, your margins, your job history, all of it visible to whoever runs the platform and governed by terms you didn’t write.
And the day you want to leave, you find out how much of it you actually control. Export limits. Formats you can’t use. A customer list that technically isn’t yours to take. That’s not a tool — that’s a landlord.

Your TradieO system runs on a server of its own, set up for your business, not shared space on a platform’s cloud. Your data sits where you can point to it.
No snooping
We only access your system to set it up, keep it running, secure and backed up, or when you ask us to. We don’t go through your customers, prices or jobs to build a profile or sell you something. It’s your system, running your business, for you.
Yours to take, always
No hostage-taking. Export your customers, and your jobs and invoices, as spreadsheets, and your certificates as a ZIP, whenever you like. Decide to leave and the whole install — the website, the system and the server — is handed over to you, with your data and your domain. No exit fee. From then on you pay for your own hosting.
Backed up and protected
Being on your own server doesn’t mean you’re on your own. The whole database and all your uploads are backed up every day, encrypted and checked, with a copy kept off the server. It’s set up when we install your system, and your monthly fee covers updates, security patching and support.
Why this is the whole point.
Every other promise TradieO makes — flat pricing, no per-user fees, the website included — comes back to this one idea: your data is yours. When your records sit on your own server, nobody can lock your customer list behind a paywall or hold it back when you leave.
Owning your data is what makes your customer list and job history an asset you control, not something you rent access to. That’s the difference between renting your business and running it.

Where exactly does my data live?

Can TradieO staff see my customers or prices?
Only to set it up, keep it running, secure and backed up, or when you ask us to look at something. It’s your system, not a shared platform we mine.
What actually happens to my data if I leave?
You keep all of it. You cancel in writing, and it takes effect at the end of the month you’ve paid for. The whole install — website, system and server — is handed over to you with your data and your domain, plus the exports: customers and jobs and invoices as spreadsheets, certificates as a ZIP. There’s no exit fee, and from then on you pay for your own hosting. We’d rather earn your staying than trap you.
Do you sell or share any of my business data?
We don’t sell your business data, and we don’t give it to anyone for their marketing. The only other places it goes are ones that do a job for you, such as the encrypted off-server backup copy and the Stripe or SMS accounts you connect. It isn’t a product to us. The model is one flat price, $249 a month plus a one-off $2,999 setup, both including GST, not harvesting your data to make money elsewhere.
